About Guitar Pi

So…why GuitarPi? My grandfather loved having pie (“pie pie”) for dessert. So the name is a tribute to him. I’ve been playing guitar for thirty-something years and still have a passion for it. I’ve learned a lot over the years on the internet and want to give something back. So here you go!

I’m currently playing in a band – Sticks and Bones – with four of my buddies I’ve known since middle school. I’ve also been playing in my church praise band for the last 15 years.
